Coming from the south：

a. Following Provincial No.13, direction Fengyuan through Houli, to arrive Sanyi in about an hour. 

b. Take the Sun Yet-sen Freeway and exit at Sanyi Interchange. 

Coming from the north：

a. Take the National Freeway No.3 to arrive Hsinchu System Interchange to connect to Sun Yet-sen Freeway. Exit at Sanyi Interchange. 

b. Head south on the Sun Yet-sen Freeway and exit at Sanyi Interchange. 

Coming from the south:
Jhongsing Line: Departing from the Kaohsiung Station, there are four buses heading north to West Lake Resort everyday. 
Guoguang Line: Departing from Kaohsiung Station, there are four busses heading north to West Lake Resort everyday. 
Coming from the north: All buses from Taipei West Station to Puli pass by West Lake Resort.

☆After getting off at the West Lake Resort bus stop, visitors can transfer to buses operated by Hsinchu Bus Co. to arrive Sanyi.

By train 
There are trains passing by Sanyi departing from Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung. （Fu Hsing Limited Express and Chu Kuang Limited Express）

After arriving Sanyi by train, visitors can take a 10-minute walk to arrive Sanyi Station of Hsinchu Bus Co. and then take buses to arrive the following tourist attractions: 

1. Shueimei Street of Wood Sculpture: just get off at Shueimei stop.
2. Guangsheng Village (also known as Shendiao Village) and Museum of Wood Sculpture: get off at Shueimei stop. Follow the indication and take a walk for 10 to 15 minutes to arrive. 
3. West Lake Resort: just get off at West Lake Resort stop.
4. Shengsing Train Station: at the moment there is no bus to arrive this disused train station. Visitors can call a cab in Sanyi to get to this old station.
