Situated at the border between Sanyi Township and Dahu Township, it is an excellent place for viewing Malaban Mountain, Daan River and Dajia River. With an elevation of 889 meters, its shape resembles the Chinese saber with a long handle that resembles a halberd, which was held by the famous historic character Guan Yu in the Three Kingdoms. The shape of the mountain range can be clearly seen from the distance on Longsi Highway.

When the old Mountain Line was still in service, areas around Shengsing Train Station were always crowded in the early morning during holidays. Mountain climbers in the waiting room were ready for a day walk along the Miao No.56 toward Guandao Mountain. The whole mountain belongs to national forests. It is an excellent place for forest bathes. According to scientific studies conducted in 1997, there are approximately 233 vascular plant species from Shengsing to Guandao Mountain area. Besides, many bird species dwell in this low elevation mountain area. All these conditions make it a good place for mountain hiking and ecological studies.
